Childhood

I was born on the 1st of May, year 1987, in the mid sized town of Vrsac, Vojvodina (more about Vrsac you can find here, and about Vojvodina here), from the mother Nada and father Arsenije. If you would look deep into my ancestry, you could find many different nations - from old folks of Vojvodina, through Hungarians and Germans, and even Czechs.

Early childhood was heavily influenced by my parents, grandfather Peter, uncle Dusan and my sister Danijela. I firmly believe that their early influences latter lead me to the informatics (since the very down of modern computing manifested in Commodore 64, my first computer) and economics as a primary occupation , and arts, math and biology as a secondary interests.

I was raised up in the manner of the Socialistic ideals (approach of my father) and in the spirit of old Vienna School (approach of my mother, which I preferred). This bipolar situation created for me a need to critically analyze and question everything, so I could derive a objectively based and logical conclusion and opinion. Besides the external factors, I must conclude that I had a pretty interesting and overall good childhood.

Unlike most of the kids, I went to two different primary schools: Paul Jovanovich school (first grade, and the first semester of the second grade) and John Sterija Popovic school (for the rest of the primary education). Diligent work and participation in many competitions (math, physics, chemistry, literature, informatics) made of me ideal candidate for the crown achievement of the primary school education - I was awarded with the Student of the Generation award, accompanied with the highest prize of Vukova Diploma (excellence certificate that holds the name of great scholar Vuk Stefanovich Karadjich) and average grade of 5.00 (highest grade achievable as average grade). Beside from this achievements, I would like to mention other achievements in the sphere of friendship - in this period of my life I created three outstanding friendships with Alex A., Boba V. and Nebojsa T.

During primary education I've had many outstanding teacher, but I would like to mention those who made a great impact on my further paths: Nikola Višnjić (math), Snežana Kusicki (psychics), Melanija Radak (chemistry), Slavica Kirilov (informatics), Olga Predić (math) , Gordana Kovačević (literature) i Branko Okretić (tolerant PE teacher, full of understanding for my early weight problems).

High school

Although my childhood interests were suggesting that I should choose a natural sciences or a gymnasium for a high school, I've decided to enrich my education with a economics approach. The final decision was made, and I've went to economics gymnasium Borislav Petrov Braca in my hometown of Vrsac. Most of the initiatives from primary school were continued: I've participated in many competions in business economics, both business and classic math, informatics and literature; and once again I was awarded with Vukova Diploma (average grade was once again 5.00, highest achievable mark). In this period, greatest influence on my further thoughts and decisions was made by following professors: Jano Petrovich (classic math), Boban Djordjevich (basic economics, banking), Doina Ardeljan (business math), Vesna Micevska Antal (accounting), Neven Danichich (history) i Dusan Kuzmanovich (business economics, basic economics, statistics and marketing).

This period of my life was also very rich in the term of friendships. During this period I estabilished close relation with Bojana Brajkov, my closest person up to date. Other great friends from this period are following: Alexander Zavishin, Sava Popov, Adrian Ardelian, Lichina Diana and Rade Matich.

Leaving Vrsac, coming to Novi Sad

After completion of High School, I wanted to pursue a degree in High Education area. After careful scanning and researching high education offers, I've decided to enroll to the University of Novi Sad (more about Novi Sad you can find here, and about Novi Sad University here), for the Bachelor program in Business Information Systems (Economics Faculty, more here). After mandatory entry test and because of the overall academic achievements, I was awarded with a scholarship from the state which I held for my entire Bachelor degree course. I was enrolled in the course as the number one in the ranking list, and I finished the entire course in the same manner.

Beside common duties of attending classes and writing research papers, I wanted to enrich my experience with more activities. This was the primary motive for joining the Students Union (student representative body, responsible for education policies, projects in HE and NGO area and with common students questions and issues). After a few months, I was elected to the place of President on the level of Economics Faculty. Next year I was elected to the position of President for Coordination and Organization Development (Executive Board) in the University level. Year after that, I was elected for President of the Corporate Coordination (Executive Board) on the national level. During the same year, due to outstanding results, General Assembly promoted my to the President of the entire organization in the national level. I was elected for this function twice (maximum allowed number of times) so I was able to fully reform organization in synchronization with modern requirements and needs of student population.

Beside that, I was involved in many different projects (NGO, Government and Business sector), I've participated in the local and regional elections as a candidate and as a part of marketing campaign management.

During this period I was influenced by many great minds, but I would like to mention following:  Prof. dr. Marton Sakal, Prof. dr. Sasha Boshnjak, Prof. dr. Pere Tumbas, Prof. dr. Nedjo Balaban, Prof. dr. Zoran Chirich, as well as Prof. dr. Kosta Josifidis, Prof. dr. Sinisha Ostojich, Prof. dr. Nenad Vunjak, and Prof. dr. Branko Bijelich as well as researchers: Viktorija Bojovich, Olgica Ivanchev i Darko Pantelich.

Bachelor degree work was awarded with highest grade possible (10 out of 10) and it was culmination of my professional, academic and social activities (theme of Bachelor paper was based on reforming organization into virtual organization and implementing and designing IS during my two terms in office).

This period was made even better by following friends: Dusan Peshich, Kusturin Igor, Kotur Srdjan, Milan Kablar, Sinisha Perich, Jelena Kukolj, Natasha Sajlovich, Neda Milich, Sloboda Bijelich, Slavisha Vasiljevich and Danilo Andjelich.

Münster Universität

After completion of Bachelor studies in the University of Novi Sad, I've decided to enroll to the one of the best Universities in Germany (in terms of economics and business administration) and among leading Universities in the World in the areas of Information Technology, Business Networking and Information management - the famous University of Münster (more here), accompanied with the European Research Center for Information Systems (more here).

I currently live, study and work in the town of Münster, NRW, Germany.
